State of Downtown Economic Forum

The State of Downtown Economic Forum is the Downtown Seattle Association's signature event, providing an insightful report card on the economic health of Downtown Seattle. The forum reviews progress of the past year - and a look ahead --including an analysis of Downtown housing, office market, retail, business sectors, convention & tourism as well as cultural arts, sports and entertainment.

A sold-out crowd gathered on Feb. 4 for the DSA’s State of Downtown Economic Forum. Speakers included Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn, Russell Investments President & CEO Andrew Doman, International Economic Development Council President & CEO Jeff Finkle and DSA President Kate Joncas. The forum provides an insightful report card on the economic health of Downtown in the areas of housing, office market, retail, business sectors, conventions and tourism, as well as cultural arts, sports and entertainment.
