DSA Recognizes Downtown Legacy Champions Commemorating 50 Years of Progress

As part of its golden anniversary celebration, the DSA recently named five Downtown Legacy Champions, - initiatives that have made a lasting impact on Downtown Seattle over the past 50 years. Sponsored by Bank of America, the honored milestones are:

Also as part of its 50th anniversary kick-off, the DSA was honored with a congratulatory proclamation from the Seattle City Council, expressing the city’s appreciation for the DSA’s contribution to Downtown over the last half-century. The proclamation, sponsored by Councilmembers Jan Drago and Jean Godden, was read aloud to attendees at the June 23rd City Council Meeting.
