Patrick Gordon Takes Helm for
Organization’s 50th Year
The Downtown Seattle Association (DSA) recently announced the latest additions to its board of trustees, naming Patrick Gordon, principal at Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Architects LLP as its board chair for 2008-09.
Gordon has served on the DSA Board of Trustees since 2001. A life-long Seattle resident, he has been active in the DSA’s planning, transportation and membership initiatives. In addition to his work with the DSA, Gordon has also been involved in professional and not-for-profit boards including the Seattle Architectural Foundation, The American Institute of Architects, Artist Trust, The Empty Space Theatre as well as the Business Alliance and Corporate Affiliates of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
“I am thrilled to be working with the board as we lead the Downtown Seattle Association into its 50th year,” said Gordon. “This will be a year of opportunities and challenges for the city and the region as we deliberate over a number of issues that directly impact the urban core. We look forward to helping shape decisions to improve the quality of the Downtown experience, keeping Seattle a place where people want to be, both now and in the years to come.”

- DSA Vice Chair: Jane Rakay Nelson, Attorney at Law, Lane Powell PC
